A Game of Dragonchess

Milo hadn’t been heard from in a day and they had no leads on his whereabouts. Another check of Aleera’s deck of cards told the party that they had very little time to save the people of King’s Crest and in turn the rest of Novos. They began their day by asking for a map of the city from the old artisan and mapped out quadrants to search for Milo in. They were in the middle of their planning when Kaladrax stopped talking mid sentence and looked off into the distance.  … More A Game of Dragonchess

Milo and Hepolita’s Adventure

They crept out of the dwarven artisan’s home, past the bodies of their sleeping comrades and out into the balmy night. They crept along the streets but after a while realized that no one cared or was looking for them. Their steps were bolder as they walked further through the town. They were still careful and wary though, since they didn’t know what to expect.  … More Milo and Hepolita’s Adventure

Enlightening Conversation

In the morning the party woke up, refreshed from a full night’s rest. Hepolita was eating a sparse breakfast when she remembered the strange contraption she had found when they had been in Happy Jack’s tent. It cast out projectiles like a crossbow bolt but needed no sudden reloading. It could shoot up to six times before it was empty and she didn’t want to waste the projectiles.  … More Enlightening Conversation

Reunions and Hangovers

The night was not over. Drunk as they were, Aleera and Kaladrax wandered away from the Oasis after they heard the attendants talking about a snake woman that cured the plague of ash healing the settlers of the Oasis. They were speculating about who she was and why she had chosen certain people to cure and not others. The man who was preaching about her kindness had only said that it was very taxing on the woman and seemed to sap her strength.  … More Reunions and Hangovers

Drakenforge and Day Drinking

The morning after the entire city was saved from the ravages of a rock army Hepolita rose early. She cooked the biggest most delicious breakfast that the party had had in a while. The rest of the group were pleasantly surprised as Hepolita was a rough fighter type that didn’t seem like the kind to like cooking. Refreshed and ready to go, the party set out at once to Drakenforge. It was not only the last of the Blessings but also the next location of the ingredients for the panacea to restore everything from the curse of Ash. … More Drakenforge and Day Drinking

Race to King’s Crest

Aleera got up, drying her tears and brushing the grime off her clothes. She was about to fly upwards to meet the others when the ground a little ways off rumbled. A mound of dirt came popping out of the ground as if something was burrowing. She got ready to fight again if need be when something came out. It was a statue of Milo. It was a perfect replica of him. Cracks formed on the statue and Aleera stepped forward in concern.  … More Race to King’s Crest

The Blessing of Terra

At the mouth of the Broodmaw Caverns the party found a warning. It read, “No cheating, No party pooping, and No FLYING!.” It looked more like the entrance to a child’s room than the lair of a terrible spirit. Kariss had to touch down on her broom to put it away and Aleera floated gently down until her feet hit solid dirt. They made their way into the darkness on foot. In one of the ante chambers they met a small diminutive looking girl that was all dirty. It was Terra and she wished them luck through the trial. … More The Blessing of Terra

Attack at High Noon

The party awoke the next morning after a rough night. Aleera and Kaladrax left almost immediately to see his mother and keep her company. They returned later in the day to find Urstil, the Headmistress of Whistler University. She was Kaladrax’s boss. It was a little strange that she came alone. No escort or guard followed. She had come to ask the group to investigate the increasing earth elemental attacks. With the Oasis liberated, the healing potions were being made again but the earth elemental attacks were disrupting distribution lines and making impossible for the outer settlements to receive any aid.  … More Attack at High Noon
