Meet the mighty Rhomar, a proud warrior Myr’Rin tribe. They specialize in combat and raw power. The tribe is shinned among the Myr’Rin, leaving them to do anything they can to get by. Scattered as they are, these three got together for the festival and formed a formidable team. Their biggest advantage was their female warrior that happened to be a mage. It was a rare feat to be able to use magic among the Myr’Rin so she was surely an advantage in the battles. I gave them all unique armor color schemes to match their own. The golden Rhomar is dressed in full armor with a shield to match. So glad I got the eyes right. I used a gun metal look for the armor as I feel this looks better than regular silver.

The white Rhomar female was their ace in the hole with beautiful white fur and a leather dress that gave her the freedom of movement to step quietly. The red Rhomar was also in full armor but eschewed the protection of a shield for the raw power of a greatsword. My favorite part of these was painting the fur details. I went in with a darker base coat and went in with a very thin brush to brush in thin lines of fur for the desired effect with a lighter color. The result is the effect of fine fur. This gives the minis more dimension and detail instead of just a solid base coat and a dry brush. They do not create the same effect.
