Fire in the Hole!

The Hand of Destiny sailed back towards Novos with the artifacts safely aboard the ship. They made it back to Novos when Kariss asked the party to send Gralmore to collect the few Yuan-ti who had survived because they didn’t want to fight and give them safe haven on the island. The party agreed because a few had helped them find the temple where the ceremony to raise Ssseth was taking place.  … More Fire in the Hole!

Miniature Showcase

This miniature was for a friend’s campaign. He was providing painted miniatures for his players and wanted to surprise them. He sent me some photos of the color scheme he came up with using the Dwarven Forge color setup they released a while ago. The Scourge of Chult

The Hand of Destiny spent a couple of weeks at sea on their way to Chult. The days were filled with planning and work aboard the vessel. Hepolita had the challenge of feeding the entire crew, Kariss dealt with a lot of seasickness and other ailments, and Aleera entertained each night to boost morale. Kaladrax and Gralmore conferred over routes to take and preferred landing spot. Each got to experience life at sea and were quite happy for the trip.  … More The Scourge of Chult

I would never write about what size the planet was unless I was writing about a catastrophic even. I planned on a story within the world not encompassing the planet. One of the things I focused too much on was creating new species of humanoid and animal inhabitants. … More World Building: Races and Species

She tries to cover them up by reattaching them with a sap she carries with her. Right now some of the party is trying to come up with solutions so she doesn’t have to glue feathers back on. … More Miniature Showcase

Dark Storm

Aleera faced off against the Aaracokra pirate with the last power she was looking for. Once she completed her mission she would be free to ask for her heart’s desire. Her resolution hardened and she prepared for the fight to come. The Aarakocra seemed more concerned with finding a way out. He didn’t appear to be eager to fight. He just wanted to stay out of her grasp. Aleera messaged Kaladrax and Gralmor to bring the ship around and pin the other ship into the makeshift harbor that this pirate hideaway had.  … More Dark Storm

DM Appreciation is Important

There is a lot of stress involved in being a Dungeon Master or Game Master. I see my husband go through the different stages of stress at throughout the day. DM’s have to put together the game, they are usually in charge of making sure everyone can show up, and they balance listening with upholding the rules of the game. There are a few ways to make it easier on the DM and give them some appreciation. … More DM Appreciation is Important
