You would think a flaming sword would be bright red flame but I though a cold blue flame would be a cool change to the norm. I added layers of various shades of blue to create the flame effect and added a a fluorescent blue paint as well to add a pop of glow to the miniature! The hilt has matching blue stones in it. They are a clue that the fire and the blade are intertwined in some way. The glow paint gives the flames a living look that I love for this magical item. It’s a cool set piece that can add so much story to the session. As a great bonus, the sword can be removed as a separate piece! I’ll be posting the video on Instagram showing it.
